Interest Rates Left Alone

The Bank Of England left interest rates alone last week at 4%.  The news has disappointed some and affected the FTSE 100 by cutting the day's stock market gains in half.In the US, the Federal Reserve took the decision to cut interest rates by a full half percent, inspiring market commentators to say that global stock markets could benefit.
