Interest Rates Held At 5.75% Again

Published / Last Updated on 03/10/2007

The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee met today and has decided to maintain interest rates at 5.75%.

This is third month in a row that rates have been held at 5.75%.

Our view

Housing has slowed over the last few months and this will have had an influence.

We suggest this rate will be maintained until the New Year.
