Insurance Cuts Mortgage Arrears
According to Citizens Advice, more than one-quarter of mortgage arrears could have been prevented had people had adequate insurance in place. Arrears problems have increased by 35 per cent in 2008, with illness accounting for 14 per cent of cases.
Our view
Insuring yourself against things like unemployment and long term sickness are a must, and for the sake of a few pounds a month you must take the insurance to protect you, your family and your property.
