Inflation Target Timing Uncertain.

Mervyn King, believes the Bank of England will reach its 2 per cent inflation target, but has warned that the crisis in the Middle East could throw their plans of track.  He also expects inflationary pressure to withdraw by the middle of the year.  

However, he has warned that the inflation rate would remain high until well into 2012 and the continuing crisis in the Middle East could have a negative effect on inflation.
