House Prices Still Rising

Published / Last Updated on 09/11/2002

October's house price statistics showed that prices were still on the up, this time by around 0.5% in most counties in the UK. The only counties that did not see increases were Wiltshire, Central and East London. Here, prices fell by around 0.2%. Despite house price inflation generally coming back into line, some counties saw growth at much more than the price of inflation.  As an example, properties in Teeside saw house prices grow by 1.5%.  Search the archives for other property stories.
