House Price 0.9% June Rise

According to the Nationwide property index, house prices in the UK rose again in June by just 0.9%.

This is the third time in the last four months that prices have risen and is a surprising result according to Nationwide.

We suggest this may be a summer ‘feel good’ increase as consumer sentiment is more positive.

We suggest as summer ends and winter closes in over the next 4 months, houses will appear less attractive and will hold at their current levels for the next six months or so.
