Home Information Packs HIPs are required for all properties that are placed on teh market for sale with effect from today.There has been a gradual phasing in of HIPs through 2007 starting at larger properties and working its way down. The last category which is for smaller two bedroomed homes to have a HIP Home Information Pack starts today.
What are Home Information Packs HIPs?
It is a pack that contains vital infirmation in connection with your home such as land registry information, searches, legal details and home efficiency and energy ratings.
Our view
The basic idea is that a HIP will speed up the home buying process and we believe it will, once we all get used to them.
