Halifax More House Price Falls

The Halifax Property Index has confirmed that house prices fell in April by another 1.7% meaning annual property prices of 17.7%. They confirmed that the average UK house price was now £154,716 compared to £188,000 a year ago.

More Doom - Halifax warned that house prices are likely to continue falling in the coming months with unemployment rising and buyer demand still falling.
