According to research by New Star Investment Funds, private investors are unsure where best to invest their money this year. In a survey of more than 2,000 investors, 49% had no idea what would be the best performing asset class, and 24.1% thought that buy-to-let residential property would perform best.
New Star has said that the research highlights the need for investors to take professional advice.
