Finance Services professionals work on average seven hours and 42 minutes of unpaid work each week, according to the Trade Union Congress.
More than half of employees polled would like shorter working hours, and 18% would take a cut in salary to achieve this. The figures, based on research by the Office for National Statistics were released recently to coincide with Work Your Proper Hours Day, a TUC initiative to come into and leave work on time, and take their full entitlement to lunch breaks.
