Friends Provident and Tesco Life Insurance Deal

Friends Provident and Tesco Persoanl Finance appear to have reached an agreement for Friends Provident's protection range to be branded withing Tesco's personal finance range.

Friends Provident is a long standing traditional brand with excellent Income Protection products and may well fit into the Tesco stable quite easily.

We suggest that Friends Provident may need the deal more than Tesco given their fall from popularity with the Independent Financial Advice community where sales have slumped.

We would also remind the unsuspecting general public that the FSA has already issued many warnings about these 'no advice' sales, where there is literally no comeback or rigght to complain if you select the worng policy or cover.
