Financial Advice At Work For Personal Accounts

Financial advice at work is needed to ensure success for new Personal Accounts pensions according to the National Association of Pension Funds.

In a response to the interim report from the Thoresen review, the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) believes workplace financial advice will be crucial to the success of personal accounts in 2012.  The National Association of Pension Funds has urged the government to do more in encouraging financial advice, especially for those not currently part of a workplace pension scheme.

Our view

Financial advice at work is a dream.  Who will pay for it? Whilst financial advice at work would deliver results as the workplace is an ideal environment to reach many hard-to-get-people, and it will be seen as a priority for employers.
