Fake Invesco Perpetual Funds Warning.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has issued a warning about fraudulent groups contacting investors in an attempt to sell fake funds using the Invesco Perpetual name. The groups are operating from websites using the Invesco Perpetual name and are marketing an Invesco Asian Precious Metals fund and an Invesco Gold Precious Metals Fund.
Invesco Perpetual has also issued a warning on its website, it states that Invesco and Invesco Perpetual are not authorised to give investment advice and their staff do not make cold-calls or contact customers by telephone or email to make investment recommendations.
