Downturn May Stop Rate Rise.

A recent survey has suggested that the first-quarter rebound in the UK economy was not as strong as expected, which only added to the number of people who think the Bank of England should not raise interest rates later this week.

According to the BCC chief economist David Kern, he believes the data from the survey providers support for the view that the Monetary Policy Committee should not rush into raising interest rates.
