Deal Hopes Eurozone Markets Up.
Stock markets rose this morning on hopes that a deal to resolve the eurozone debt crisis can be worked out. Final details of the deal will hopefully be completed on Wednesday.
France’s Cac 40 index and the Dax in Germany were both up more than 0.5%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index ended the day 3.8% higher, while in Tokyo the Nikkei ended 1.9% up.
