Consumer Confidence Falls.
According to the Nationwide building society, UK consumer confidence has dropped for the fourth consecutive month, around 80% of consumers believe there will be no improvement in the economy over the next 6 months.
The lender’s consumer confidence index fell 3 points in September to 45 points, which is 10 lower than the same time last year.
