Co-op Financial Advice Axed.
Following a strategic review of its life and savings business, Co-operative Financial Services (CFS) have announced they will no longer be offering financial advice directly, but they have signed a 7 year distribution partnership with AXA, which will provide in-branch financial advice to their retail banking customers.
They have also announced that they are having talks with Royal London to sell its life insurance subsidiary. According to Neville Richardson, chief executive at CFS, this current move supports their strategy to concentrate on their banking and general insurance areas.
