Cash For Start Up Businesses

Published / Last Updated on 27/12/2002

£2.8m has recently been made available to help start up businesses in the UK.  The first of the Small Business Early Growth Funds (called the London Seed Capital Fund) will be used to fund London's start ups and fledgling businesses.

Nigel Griffiths, the Government's Small Business Minister said: "today's small businesses are tomorrow's economic dynamos.  Innovative small companies drive the economy".

Part of the funding was supplied by the Department of Trade and Industry's small business service.  Greater London Enterprise also contributed.

If you are thinking of starting a business in any area we can provide assistance in terms of your own financial planning needs and in terms of any assistance available from Government organisations, such as funding.
