Buy Low Sell High: Investors
According to Barclays Wealth, the falling stockmarket is being seen by many investors as an opportunity to take advantage of market conditions. Equity Strategist at Barclays Stockbrokers, Henk Potts said, “The doom and gloom headlines and the disheartening numbers on screen may have had some traders looking for a safe haven. However, many others should see this as a real opportunity to take advantage of short-term volatility in order to generate long term gain”.
Our view
History has taught us that the best returns are when we buy stocks when they are low and not when they are high – you just need a strong nerve. This will always be the same. When you see a headline “stockmarket crash” and “property crash” that is when you buy.
