A survey examining the energy buying process in the UK, which has been commissioned by Utilyx and Barclays Capital, has found that British businesses are paying too much for their energy.
Barclays Capital believes that UK companies are dependent on market conditions and are suffering losses estimated to be as much as £1 billion. While producers and suppliers are receiving record profits, energy buyers have to pay higher prices.
