BT Staff Year Off Offer
In an effort to deal with the downturn in the economy, British Telecom has offered its staff the opportunity to take a ‘gap year’ off but still be paid 25% of their salary.
In addition, it has also offered a £1,000 bonus for staff to work part-time.
We see this as a reaction to an expected continuation of a long drawn recession and not the ‘green shoots’ of recovery that some keep talking about.
