
Barclays Paying PPI Claims.
Customers of Barclays who made a complaint before 20 April about the payment protection insurance (PPI) they were sold are to receive compensation. They will reimburse customers the total value of premiums paid plus 8% interest.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) have decided as a temporary measure, due to the number of new PPI complaints received that complaints put on hold during the judicial review must be settled by the end of August and any complaints received since the end of the judicial review but received before 31 August must be dealt with in 16 weeks.
