Bank of England Economy Uncertain

by Joanne Roberts, Ashley Clark, Director

Mervyn King, Governor of the Bank of England, has suggested that the economic future of the UK still remains uncertain.

He suggested any economic recovery will continue, but its strength depended heavily on developments in the world economy.

Inflation showed as still ay above government targets of 2% pa and despite what both Chancellor, the Treasury and the Bank of England say, we believe inflation will continue to rise for probably 10 years.

Uncertainty, in our opinion the economy is not, it is back to boom and bust economics by design.
