Despite growth slowing in China, India being knocked by soaring inflation, and most of Asia being hit by the US recession, many experts are still very bullish about investment prospects in Asia.

Our view
The Cambodian Stockmarket is due for launch in 2009 and property prices in South East Asia are rapidly increasing. This therefore represents a significant opportunity for any investor. We urge caution as ever as investing in special sectors can prove dangerous.
