Air Fare Quoted Will Be Price Paid.

Twelve airline companies: Easyjet, Ryanair, Aer Lingus, BMI Baby, Eastern Airways, Flybe, German Wings, Jet2, Lufthansa, Thomas Cook, Thomson and Wizz Ai, have agreed to include any credit card charges upfront during the booking process, rather than adding an any additional costs on at the end.  This follows after enforcement action by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

The airlines have also agreed to make any charges for credit cards clear in the first stages of the booking process.  The government is also looking into creating legislation to ensure companies across the entire airline industry follow suit ensuring that the air fare quote is the price you pay.
