Women Waste Less Time Than Men _ Official

Published / Last Updated on 17/11/2005

According to a new poll conducted by Mori, a large number of British people waste time and the stereotype that says women are more effective than men at organising their time has been proved!

The survey interviewed 13,000 people across 13 countries to look at how people used their time. The survey discovered that 47% of women organised their time properly, compared with only 37% of men, and only 64% of people interviewed said that they felt they used their time effectively.

This means that 36% felt that they could do better with their time management skills. Despite the large number of people claiming they wasted time, only 17% said that a cut in paperwork would improve time management.  Those said that they could make better use of their time said that more holidays, flexible working arrangements and a better balance between work and home lifestyles would help them.
