UK Unemployment Numbers

According for the Office for National Statistics (ONS), unemployment in the UK rose to 2.47 million in the 3 months to the end of March. This was an increase in the number of claimants by 23,000.
The number of people not working and not seeking work rose by 29,000 to the highest ever level since records began – 8.19 million.
