UK House Prices Recover 1 Per Cent.
According to Nationwide Building Society, house prices increased by 1% throughout last year, with the price of a typical home being £163,822.
Prices in London saw the strongest growth, rising by 5.5% over the course of the year. However, Northern Ireland saw house prices fall in 2011 by 8.7%.
