Last month's JP Morgan Fleming Investor Confidence Index has more than doubled following the swifter than expected events and "success" in Iraq.
Last month's events in Iraq have stimulated investor confidence and this can certainly be seen given that FTSE rose just short of 9% last month alone, nearly breaking through the 4,000 mark a few days ago and and then smashing through the 4,000 barrier yesterday closing at 4011.10.
Our View
Whilst the UK market is exceptionally good value for the medium to longer term investor, there is still caution out there though with many awaiting the delayed tax cuts in the US which should spark World economies.
