Two Bank Of England MPC Wanted £75bn QE.

Meeting notes from the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) have revealed that two of its members voted for a £75bn stimulus to the economy.  However, the 7 other members disagreed stating that £50bn would be enough.

Since the credit crisis began, the Bank has injected £275bn into the economy through quantitative easing (QE).
