Tunbridge Wells Equitable Friendly Society has been around for over one hundred and twenty years but has decided to change its name.
The Friendly Society's new name will be Children's Mutual and has been changed following public research into their current brand awareness.
Apparently, many of the public surveyed had not heard of the actual company name but knew them as the company offering baby bonds. The newly launched society will be assisting advisers and parents to create portfolios in a tax efficient way.
Tunbridge Wells are also known by many for their university bonds. The company will continue to offer these products under the new brand but will focus more on the family saving side.
