TSC Agree With Us Do Not Talk To Ma

TSC Agree With Us Don’t Talk To Ma.

We have said before and we’ll say it again don’t talk to Ma. The Money Advice Service (MAS) has been told by MPs on the Treasury Select Committee it does not know what it is doing.

In a previous article we made you aware of our view that the MAS was not delivering and is a huge financial drain all paid for by the rest of the financial services industry and providing “money advice” that was not only not accurate but the people giving the advice had little or no financial qualifications.

The Treasury has done the same now lashing out at MAS for not only for not knowing what it is doing in terms of financial advice but for spending huge amounts of money on marketing instead of professional financial advice.

Our View

At last, the TSC says what we in the industry have all been saying.

The way forwards is a "financial aid" scheme much in the same way as the "legal aid" scheme.  It would mean that people that need financial advice but perhaps cannot afford it, can access qualified advisers.
