Traffic Jams Inspire Us?

Published / Last Updated on 28/04/2003

Research by Vauxhall has found that we British should sit in traffic jams a lot more as it inspires us to develop new ideas.

Research showed that 71% of workers came up with ideas about their business and what they could do to solve problems or develop new ideas whilst behind the wheel.

57% said that country lanes was their prime thinking time.

Our view:

Not surprising really, considering that most us spend more and more time stuck in jams - the frequency of new ideas whilst we are in the car must increase.  It is also helpful that, besides concentrating on driving, there are no other distractions.
