Stockmarket Global Panic

World stockmarkets had one of their worst trading days for over 30 years today.

UK down 9%
France down 7.7%
US down 8%
Germany down 8.4%
Japan down 24%
Austria down 10% and then suspended
Moscow and Jakarta stockmarkets were also suspended

The pound also slumped against the dollar to $1.69 and against the euro €1.24.

Our advice is to sit tight and hold your nerve.  If you have spare cash then now is the time to invest in markets, if you are already invested then wait until the panic is over.
