Stamp Duty Threshold Increase £175,000

Chancellor Alistair Darling has announced with effect from midnight tonight Stamp Duty Land Tax will not apply to purchases below £175,000 for the next 12 months.

This will be welcome news to those who are looking to buy property but restrict their costs.
