The Consumers Association has embarked on another endowment crusade, this time regarding complaints.
Over recent years there has been much publicity about ˜mis-sold endowments", urging people to sit up and take note of their policies and to check whether or not their mortgages would be repaid with the proceeds.
Many thousands of people have claimed their endowments were mis-sold and a number have been compensated. However, time is now running out if you want to make a complaint if you believe your endowment was mis-sold.
The Consumers Association have asked for another year but it is doubtful whether or not the extra time will be allowed.
The moral of the story “don't" just sit back and hope for the best, check your endowment out and take action now, if necessary.
