Small Companies Loan Credit Line
The Chancellor is expected to announce in his pre-budget speech next week plans to guarantee bank loans to small companies.
This is expected on the back of Banks shying away from lending new money to start-up businesses and more money to existing corporate borrowers amid fears that they will cease trading and money be lost.
Gordon Brown, told the House of Commons yesterday: “We will take all measures necessary to help small businesses get the loan capital they need.”
