Slow Move Back To Savings

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has released a report of a gradual move back to saving in pensions and investments in Britain rather than "spend spend spend".

Our view

Not surprising really.  Interest rates are higher encouraging more deposits, mortgages are more expensive meaning people are storing away more reserves and the stockmarket looks more attractive.
