
Shares Fall US Europe On EU Wide Downgrade Warning.
Ratings Agency Moody’s announced fresh concerns over the European sovereign debt crisis causing Shares across Europe to fall yesterday and in the US overnight.
Moody’s have repeated their stance that it would review the ratings of all 27 EU nations in the first quarter of 2012.
The French CAC was down 2.61%, while Germany’s DAX index lost 3.36%. The Dow Jones fell sharply, losing 1.3%, while London’s FTSE closed 1.83% lower.
