Scottish Equitable Rebranded

Following a year-long drive to increase brand awareness, Scottish Equitable has finally taken on the name of its parent company.

For pensions business Scottish Equitable will now be known as Aegon Scottish Equitable.

Our view

Aegon is a huge operation and is internationally well known. The idea of mentioning Aegon alongside Scottish Equitable was obviously designed to remind consumers of the strength of the company and hopefully take a larger share of the pensions market in future years.

It also enables Aegon to reinforce its main brand through another channel.
