Savers Flock to National Savings NS&I
Record savings deposits have been seen at the ‘Government Bank’, National Savings and Investments (NS&I).
NS&I have confirmed that deposits are up around 30% on last year in view of that fact that NS&I has a 100% government guarantee on security.
NS&I claim £19.22bn has been deposited with the group since April 2008 compared to £15.54bn the year before and £14.17bn 2 years ago.
