Royal London With–Profits Top
Royal London Asset Management has maintained its position among the top with-profits payouts, reporting an annualised return on its 25-year with-profits endowment of 8.4 per cent.
Group finance director Stephen Shone said “The investment outlook continues to be dominated by low inflation and interest rates. I expect that future headline returns on investments will be comparatively low by the standards of the last 25 or 30 years”.
Our view
With-profits returns are all to do with where a provider wishes to be in the ‘with-profits’ league tables. Our advice to consumers is to be careful of the top provider they may be there by choice!
