Rent Rates High Last 2 Years

by Ashley Clark, Director

LSL Properties have issued figures that average property rent rates have risen by 1.4% in August to reach a two year high.

Across all sectors the rental market appears strong due to a reduction in the number of available rental properties as landlords sell part or all of their property portfolios as concerns about the economy prevail.

Rents in the south-east continued to rise whereas in other areas such as the West Midlands and North East rents fell.
