Police Undercover in Financial Companies.
In recent weeks there has been an increasing number of actions being taken to fight financial crime.
In the latest move, it has been confirmed undercover police officers will be placed into financial firms to discover and remove any financial crime being committed.
This move is a big step into fighting financial crime such as fraud, and the officers that will be placed into the firms will have recording equipment to record all activities.
Our View
Financial fraud costs £billions across the globe. It is all well and good having undercover police in the UK tackling financial crime but the issue is outside the UK, international crime and money laundering be channelled through other countries and offshore tax haven banking systems.
