Research by CoreData has found that ‘mass affluent’ respondents to their survey were increasingly looking for investments outside pension tax wrappers to fund their retirement.

They found that more than 60% of those questioned, confirmed that they used an Isa specifically to invest in their retirement.  Around 25% said that they have already invested in property for the same reason, while nearly half of those polled confirmed their interest in using property.

It is right that people should diversify nvestment.  We all know that you should never have 'all your eggs in one basket'.
