Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has announced that office property has overtaken retail and industrial property sectors to produce the highest returns for the first time since 2000.
The research found that transactions totalled more than £50 billion throughout the year, more than double those in 2001. Overseas investors were the largest single class of investors in the UK property market last year, with 31% of all business, while office property accounted for around half of all transactions.

We are supporters of Commercial Property investment, normally via collective investment in side insurance and pension funds, purely because rental yields are consistent.
