Norwich Union has made a proposal to change the fund transfer and reattribution of the inherited estate of two of its with-profits funds. The funds are CGNU Life With-Profits Fund and Commercial Union Life Assurance With-Profits Fund. Also included in the above are the Norwich Union Life Assurance Limited (NUL RBS) and Norwich Union International Limited policies.
The broad criteria for eligibility for these funds are customers who held an appropriate policy on 21 November 2006 and whose policy is still in force of the date the reattribution will take place, this is expected to be in early 2008, or who have maintained their investment in the with-profits funds of CGNU Life or Commercial Union Life Assurance in the period from 21 November 2006 to the reattribution date.
