Norwich Union Critical Illness Payouts
Norwich Union paid out its highest level of critical illness payments last year, the insurer’s latest claims report has shown. The total amounts of payouts rose from £95m in 2006, to £106m in 2007. The figures also revealed the number of policies declined for non-disclosure fell to 4.17 per cent, down from 9 per cent in 2006.
Norwich Union’s claim figures were released as research for the 2008 Protection Review revealed almost a third of people had not considered their protection needs.
