Mortgage Lending Up: June
The Council of Mortgage Lenders has released figures for June from its members that lending in June rose by nearly £2bn in June from £10.5bn in May to £12.3bn.
Comparatively, the mortgage market is still far from healthy, with less than half the mortgages arranged in the same month in 2008 but signs are there that things are easing marginally.
We suggest there is still along way to go as many more redundancies will occur over the coming months and property, we suggest will continue to suffer until 2010.
