Mortgage Lending Up 29%

The Council of Mortgage Lenders has confirmed that there was a steady increase in mortgage lending in March with an increase of 29% compared to February.

This is still over 30% down on the same time last year but is clear signs that certain areas of the property market are starting to see some activity, albeit at the lower first time buyer end.
